WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
We will talk about the situations that lead you, your child, and your family to seek therapy. With adult and adolescents, we will present various behavioral patterns and perspectives and ensure that they are reinforced. We will bring about change in children with lots of play therapy. We will walk together on this long-term path.
SECRET KEEPING PRINCIPLE
The therapist is obliged to keep all the information shared by her client a secret. Patient privacy aims to ensure that the client participates in the treatment comfortably in a safe environment. For children and adolescents, these secrets can only be shared with legally authorized persons when necessary.
TREATMENT DURATION
The duration of psychological treatment varies for each client. This is due to individual differences and the diversity of topics consulted. Continuity greatly affect the duration of treatment.
EVALUATION
During this process, the therapist determines the correct diagnosis and the appropriate treatment method by asking various questions and applying tests when necessary.
THERAPY PLAN
Following the diagnosis, the treatment plan is made considering the needs of the individual and his family. In some cases, psychiatric referral for medication may be made in addition to psychotherapy (therapy). Sometimes, exercise and lifestyle changes that will help organize daily life can also be added to the plan. Progress during the treatment process is evaluated regularly.
The therapist’s goal is to support and provide counseling to the individual. Therapist establishes a warm, non-judgmental relationship with the individual and helps him to cope with difficulties and provides motivation.
Compliance with therapy is very important during the therapy process. Collaborating with the therapist and applying suggestions and new skills ensures the success of the therapy and helps shorten its duration.
